Our Connected Strategy process and approach
Our Connected Strategy offering provides a fully-integrated client engagement experience that includes consulting, accounting, and tax compliance. Without an accountant, allowable tax deductions may be missed and your time will be spent on accounting and tax related tasks instead of doing the things that make you money.
Our Connected Strategy process is designed to both identify allowable tax deductions and free your time by taking on other accounting and tax related tasks. Our goal is to take as much of the burden off your shoulders as possible and provide helpful insights for you to both run your business and make informed decisions. Most of the time, we can perform tasks for you in less time it has taken in the past. By turning this work over to us, you are freeing yourself up to focus on your business while knowing that you are not missing opportunities.
Below is the system we follow when we begin working with you:
Phase 1: Understand your business and Identify your tax strategy
What is your tax strategy?
Most people hope to pay as little as possible, but do not have a clear tax strategy. In order to have good results, you need to start with a good plan. The first thing we do with our clients is understand their overall objectives and review their current tax strategy in order to identify missed opportunities. Based on this initial strategy identification, we move to the next phase.
Phase 2: Implement your unique tax plan
Once we know your objectives and identify your tax strategy, we can implement the remaining pieces of your plan. Your plan will require some setup, which will include calculations to optimize the financial decisions. Once we have configured the elements of the plan, we will provide detailed information on how the plan works and provide information on the progress. We will also share accounting best practices to help you keep things as organized as you need them to be.
Phase 3: Ongoing upkeep
Your plan, if well maintained, will provide tax efficiency and accuracy for years to come. Depending on your preferences and needs, we will set up recurring check-in times where we can review your actions and evaluate whether your plan is achieving its intended effect. Suggested check-ins are either monthly or quarterly.
Part of the ongoing upkeep is having your basic accounting needs fulfilled including bookkeeping, payroll, income taxes, sales tax, and other accounting and tax compliance. Refer to the pagefor additional details on those services.
